Identification and traceability are of critical importance to the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry. To address this need for hose assemblies, Dwight Long pioneered the CLEAR‐mark® hose labeling system while at Integra.

CLEAR‐mark® labels are molded directly onto any silicone or silicone covered hose. The resulting label is permanently attached with no crevices or entrapment areas. CLEAR‐ mark® labels are extremely durable and capable of handling repeated autoclave, steam in place (SIP) and clean in place (CIP) cycles.

CLEAR‐mark® hose labels are available in a variety of colors for product, process or area segregation. Two lines of text are available for customer information with additional lines for the hose part number, manufacture date and serial number.

To meet the ever-increasing demands for product identification, CLEAR‐mark® also includes a unique serial number on each assembly. This CLEAR‐mark® serial number allows for complete traceability of all aspects of the hose subcomponents and fabrication process.
