Material construction

GORE® STA-PURE® SU PRO™ Transfer Pump Tubing combines platinum-cured silicone with expanded polyethylene (ePE) reinforcement. This composite structure provides strength, flex durability and resilience for demanding upstream and downstream bioprocessing applications.

  • Fluid-contact material: platinum-cured silicone.
  • Reinforcement: expanded polyethylene (ePE).
  • Designed for peristaltic pumping in irradiated single-use assemblies.

Crimped or molded assemblies by int2

int2 can crimp or mold assemblies using GORE® STA-PURE® SU PRO™ tubing. Our team can help review tubing dimensions, connection requirements and the assembly configuration for your application.

Share your pump model, process conditions, sterilization requirements, required length and end connections so we can review your assembly requirements.

Durability and radiation compatibility

SU PRO is designed to maintain consistent flow while reducing the risk of tubing failure in single-use processing, including continuous bioprocessing.

  • Gore demonstrated peristaltic pump performance after exposure to 45–56 kGy of gamma radiation.
  • The stated design targets are a minimum tube life of 60 days at 0–5 psig and 14 days at pressures up to 60 psig, under the data sheet’s test conditions.
  • Testing used room-temperature deionized water in Watson-Marlow 500 Series pumps at 220 rpm with two rollers.

These results describe Gore’s tubing tests, not a pressure rating or service-life guarantee for a complete assembly. Validate performance for your pump, process and specific sterilization conditions.

Quality and supporting documentation

Gore reports that SU PRO meets USP <87> and USP <88> Class VI test requirements. It is manufactured and packaged in an ISO 14644-1 Class 7 cleanroom, with visual inspection of every tube and dimensional checks for each manufacturing lot.

The supplied data sheet includes tubing dimensions, durability test results, particulate and bacterial endotoxin data, and information about available extractables testing.

Not intended for medical device or food-contact applications. Review the downloadable data sheet for details and confirm availability of the required size.
