Material construction

Series PFL combines platinum-cured perfluoroelastomer with expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) reinforcement for peristaltic pumping of aggressive chemicals, including organic solvents.

  • Fluid-contact surface: platinum-cured perfluoroelastomer.
  • Reinforcement: expanded PTFE (ePTFE).
  • Composite construction supports chemical resistance and consistent flow.

Crimped or molded assemblies by int2

int2 can crimp or mold assemblies using GORE® STA-PURE® PFL tubing. We can help review your tubing dimensions, connection requirements and assembly configuration for the application.

Share your process chemicals, concentrations, temperature, pump model, required length and end connections so our team can review your assembly requirements.

Performance and compatibility

  • Designed for chemically demanding pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical pumping applications.
  • Gore reports testing up to 60 psig; performance depends on tubing size, pump setup and operating conditions.
  • Supports cleaning in place (CIP), steam in place (SIP) and autoclave sterilization.
  • PFL should not be sterilized with gamma or X-ray irradiation.

Confirm chemical compatibility and size-specific limits in current literature. Tubing test results are not a pressure rating for a complete assembly.
